Hiking Through Lake Tahoe
I just got back from a trip over to the West Coast and am already missing it greatly. We adventured around Lake Tahoe and the San Francisco area for a week with my family. Nothing fuels me quite like traveling to new places and hiking through the woods. And hiking we did. By the end of our trip, we hiked about 30 miles. My nephews were ready to push me off a cliff if I made them go on another hike. I was banned from saying the H word.
Videos have become my new favorite thing. Here's a little video I put together of our trip:
The beauty is unreal in Lake Tahoe. Water as clear as the Caribbean surrounded by nothing but mountains. Mountains and water - my two favorite things. I always said if Florida had mountains it would be perfect. I would have stayed on this cliff all night if I could.
This kid. He kills me with that face. He's Treydon and he's my second oldest nephew. I have 5 nephew's and a niece that all live on the West Coast.
After leaving Tahoe, we made our way to San Francisco for the day. San Francisco is one of those places I could definitely see myself living. The streets, the bay, the people, the culture - I'm obsessed. If only it wasn't so damn expensive.
It's no secret that I love street photography. I'm happiest when I'm wandering through streets, photographing the crazy, random things that happen. I think that's what I love most about street photography. It's not posed, it's not choreographed. It's as is. Real. It's moments that mostly go unnoticed and that's the beauty of it.
Till next time, Cali.
